Angela Gargano (00:00)
Hey there, I'm super excited for this episode today of What If It All Goes Right, the podcast where we break through doubts, challenge our limitations, and create real momentum in our lives. I'm your host, Angela Gargano, and today, today we're gonna do something a little different. So if you've been following along with the series, this is part eight of the series, so I highly recommend you go back and listening to the What If It All Goes Right series. We've covered so much.
We've covered how to recognize and feel our emotions, how to identify what we truly want, how to create a game plan, and how to hold on to an adaptable mindset through the chaos and challenges, and even the mental tools to help push us forward. But today, today's about you. Today's about giving you the pep talk you need. Because I know right now, you might feel tired.
You might be questioning whether anything you're doing is even working. You might be thinking, what's the point? Why does it feel like nothing is changing or nothing is working? And I need you to hear me loud and clear right now. You are changing. You are doing the work. And even if it doesn't feel like it right now, you are further along than you were before. Sometimes we show up expecting results instantly. And when things don't happen as quickly as we to, we start questioning ourselves.
progress is happening even when you can't see it. So if you're feeling discouraged today, if you need that push to keep going, I've got you this episode, this is your pep talk. Save it, come back to it anytime you need and let this be the fuel that keeps you moving forward because what if it all goes right? All right, let's take a breath. No, seriously, I want you to pause for a second and take a breath in and out.
And I want you to know something right now. You're doing better than you think. You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. And right now in this moment, even if you don't feel like you're winning, you're still in the game. And that means something. You woke up today, you showed up. Maybe you didn't feel like it. Maybe you only had 30 % to give, but guess what? That 30%, that's 100 % of what you had today. And that means you gave it your all.
We are so quick to celebrate other people. We cheer them on. We remind them that they're amazing, that they're doing great things. But when it comes to ourselves, we're so quick to judge. We're so quick to say, I'm not doing enough. I should be further. This should be easier. But let's flip the script. What if you started talking to yourself the way you would talk to your best friend? Imagine your friend is standing in front of you telling you they are feeling like they're failing. Would you tell them they suck? Would you tell them that they should quit?
Would you tell them they aren't good enough? Hell no. You'd look them in the eyes and you say, are you kidding me? Look at everything you've done. Look at how much you've pushed through. Look at how you keep going even when it's hard. Do you know how strong that makes you? Do know how many people already given up by now? But you, you keep showing up and that is everything. So let me be that person for you right now. You are not behind. You're not failing. You are learning. You are growing.
You're getting better every single day, even when it doesn't feel like it. Every great story has moments where the hero wants to quit. Every champion has days where they feel like nothing's working, but in every strong, powerful person you look up to has had moments exactly like this, where they doubted themselves, where they wondered if it was even worth it. And do you know what separates them from everyone else? They kept going. And so will you.
You're walking through the hallway of certain certainty, the in-between. That space where it's easy to get lost in your own head, to let the doubt creep in, to feel like you're stuck. But what if you aren't stuck? What if you're exactly where you need to be? What if all of this is preparing you for something greater than you can even see right now?
Because you are.
So here's what I want you to do. One, take a moment and celebrate yourself. I don't care if you haven't hit your goal yet. I don't care if you feel like nothing's working. You are still in the game and that alone deserves a recognition. Write it down, say it out loud. I am proud of myself for blank. Fill in the blank. Maybe it's I am proud of myself for not quitting. Maybe it's I am proud of myself for showing up today. Maybe it's I am proud of myself for believing that something bigger is coming and even when I can't see it just yet. Two.
Keep stacking your wins. Start keeping track of even the smallest victories. Did you get out of bed today when you wanted to hide under the covers? That's a win. Did you send that email that scared you? That's a win. Did you move your body even just a little? That's a win. And three, remind yourself daily. What if it all goes right? I need you to ask yourself this question every single day. Not what if I fail? Not what if I'm not good enough? But what if it all goes right?
What if everything is lining up for you right now, even if you can't see just yet? Because guess what? It is.
So I want you to carry this with you today. I you to save this episode, come back to it when you need it. Know that even on the hardest days, you are still in this. And remember this, the only way you lose is if you quit. The only way you don't make it is if you stop. And you, you're not stopping because you are strong, you are capable, and you are closer than you think. So take that deep breath, shake off the doubt, and keep going.
Because what if it all goes right? What if it's already going
