From Lab Coats to Pull-Ups... 🤷‍♀️

Hey there, if we haven't crossed paths before, I'm a Jersey native with a passion for Biological Chemistry. Life threw me a curveball back in 2010 when I faced an ACL injury during my gymnastics days. Despite the challenges, I bounced back and stumbled into the exciting realm of fitness competitions. 💪 Skipping ahead a bit, I proudly earned the title of Miss Fitness America in 2016, but the journey didn't stop there.

Leaving my stable job in cancer research, I opened a gym, faced the American Ninja Warrior course, and even tore my ACL a SECOND TIME. 😅

But setbacks are just setups for comebacks, right?

I transformed my life, moved to NYC, and emerged as a top trainer, dedicated to helping women conquer the pull-up and overcome life's obstacles.

So, how did I go from a biochemist to an online pull-up coach? The pull-up became more than a physical achievement; it became a gateway to newfound confidence and possibilities in the lives of the incredible women I've had the privilege to work with.

In 2021, I graced the cover of Oxygen Magazine, sharing my ACL comeback story and impacting women worldwide. Every woman I help achieve her first pull-up is a testament to the life-changing power of perseverance and determination. 🙌

Here are three inspirations that I want to share with all of you to help you keep pushing forward when life gets tough:

Resilience is Your Superpower: Life is unpredictable, and challenges are inevitable. Tapping into your resilience is your secret weapon. Remember, it's not about avoiding difficulties, but about bouncing back stronger each time. My torn ACLs and unexpected setbacks only fueled my determination to rise again. Embrace your resilience—it's your superpower. 🌟

Embrace Change and Pivot: Life rarely follows a straight line. Just like my transition from cancer research to the world of fitness, sometimes you need to pivot. Don't be afraid to embrace change and explore new paths. Your journey might take unexpected turns, but each detour is an opportunity for growth and discovery. 🔄

Celebrate Small Victories: In the pursuit of big goals, it's crucial to acknowledge and celebrate small victories along the way. Life's curveballs might make the journey challenging, but every small win is a step closer to your ultimate triumph. Whether it's conquering a new pull-up milestone or simply persevering through a tough day, take a moment to celebrate your achievements. 🎉
